Dr. Losinski is a Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeon practicing in our Brooklyn Park location. Dr. Losinski is a Minnesota native and attended St. Olaf College where she fulfilled her prerequisite requirements for entry into veterinary school. After a few years of working as a veterinary assistant, she then attended the University of Minnesota where she earned a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree, as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Losinski completed a year-long small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Michigan State University, followed by a three-year surgical residency at Oregon State University. After residency training, Dr. Losinski worked as a veterinary surgeon in Missouri and then in Wisconsin before returning to Minnesota and joining the team at Allied Emergency and Referral Veterinary Service.
Dr. Losinski enjoys all aspects of surgery including soft tissue and orthopedic procedures. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is being able to improve the lives of pets and their owners. When she is not busy caring for her patients, Dr. Losinski enjoys spending time hiking, foraging, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
