Dr. Gooden

DVM

Eau Claire

Dr. Gooden grew up on a hobby farm in Minnesota and moved to Eau Claire with her family at the age of 12. She began working at a local veterinary clinic when she was just 16 years old, solidifying her passion for animal care. Dr. Gooden earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 2010, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UW–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014.

After practicing as a veterinarian in Eau Claire for nearly nine years, Dr. Gooden joined the Allied team as an emergency veterinarian. She lives on the outskirts of Eau Claire on two acres with a beloved crew of five dogs, eight cats, and one fish — many of whom have special needs.

Outside of work, Dr. Gooden enjoys hiking and training her dogs, tending to her collection of houseplants, and spending time with family. She also fosters animals and serves as a veterinarian for the Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA).
