Dr. Cook is an experienced small animal veterinarian who transitioned from general practice to emergency medicine because she loves challenging cases as well as helping animals and their owners. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Prior to that, she pursued a dual major in biology and chemistry at Northland College. Dr. Cook thrives in the fast-paced environment of the ER and embraces the opportunity to tackle complex medical and surgical cases.
Outside of practice, Dr. Cook enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two daughters. They enjoy family camping trips and outdoor adventures, and Dr. Cook relaxes by reading, baking, and gardening. Dr. Cook’s family also includes three dogs, three cats, and a flock of chickens.
