Dr. Benning was awarded her DVM from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 after completing her undergraduate studies in animal science at UMN.
She has a particular clinical interest in soft tissue surgery. Dr. Benning is moved by the relationships between people and pets and finds it immensely rewarding to help families by giving their pets the best possible care.
When she’s not caring for animals at work, you can find her scuba diving, reading, traveling, boating, and attending music concerts. She’s also a big local sports team fan, rooting for the Vikings, Twins, Wild, and Timberwolves). In addition, she serves as the veterinarian for the Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby.
