For Pet Parents

Compassionate Veterinary Care During the Unexpected.

Allied Veterinary Emergency & Referral serves as an extension of your primary care veterinarian to provide help while they are closed or if your pet’s illness or injury requires a level of expertise not typically available at a general practice.

Pet emergencies can be unexpected and scary, but our team is always available to assist your pet when they need it most. We all chose animal health care as our profession because we love animals as much as you do. And as an employee-owned hospital, every member of our team is invested in the care of your pet.

What to Expect at the Pet ER

When you arrive at an Allied hospital, we will conduct a preliminary assessment of your pet in order to determine the urgency of their need for medical intervention and the nature of treatment required. This is called triage. If indicated, essential life-saving care will begin immediately.

If more extensive treatment is necessary, we will take the time to review the recommended plan with you and discuss all options and associated costs. No question is too big or too small for our veterinary team and we will support you as you navigate these decisions.

Paying for Your Pet’s Care

At Allied, we offer multiple payment options and will do our very best to work with you to care for your beloved companion. In addition to cash and most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, American Express), we also accept CareCredit, Scratchpay, Affirm, and Varidi for qualified applicants.

Allied Angel Fund

For those who are able, or want to assist other animals in need, we have an angel fund established at each of our hospitals where you can “round up” or donate to mybalto. To participate, simply click on one of the links below.

Thank you.
