Dr. Patel chose a career in veterinary medicine based on her love for animals that started at a young age. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Minnesota and obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She especially values working with a team of like-minded professionals who share her enthusiasm for helping animals in need.
When not at work, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time outdoors with her American pitbull terrier. She also fosters and has adopted senior or special needs cats. In addition, Dr. Patel has a keen interest in plants and enjoys outdoor gardening and indoor plant propagation.
